The Zonta Club of Skaneateles

The Zonta Club of Skaneateles is a part of Zonta International, in District 2, Area 2. Our members are actively engaged in or retired from diverse professions and industries such as healthcare, interior design, travel, music, political science, education and business; yet each is united in the single interest of empowering women & girls worldwide, through service and advocacy.

Our Vision

The Zonta Club of Skaneateles pursues Zonta International mission and goals. Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world, women have access to all resources and are represented in decision-making positions on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Our Voices

The Zonta Club of Skaneateles recognizes that united we can accomplish more than we can as individuals. We add our voices to the nearly 30,000 Zonta members belonging to 1,200 clubs in 66 countries. Zontians volunteer their time, talents and support to local and international service projects focusing on achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls. We partner with established organizations for the completion of projects, such as Building Futures, Inc. (See more under “Our Projects.”)
