The Manlius Pebble Hill Z Club members and Zonta Club of Syracuse Z Club Co-Chairmen and mentors, Nichole Moles and Candace Edwards, say No to Violence Against Women for October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month and for November’s Zonta Says No To Violence Against Women. Thirty-two Z-Club members met with their mentors for the first meeting of the new school year. Their agenda included creating Halloween Candygrams for a fundraiser to raise money for Vera House Women’s Shelter. They also decided on two other community service projects for the Holiday Season. They will do a “Jell-O” collection for Onondaga County needy families’ holiday baskets and will also do “Project Smiles” where students will collect gently used clothes for needy girls and boys in a third world country.

They are definitely on the right track with community service projects supporting the mission of Zonta. The MPH Z CLub will also be supporting the showing of the movie SOLD about human trafficking of girls in Nepal. What an amazing start of the school year!!
