For Zonta Club of Rome, NY service and advocacy is:
- Providing Care Packages to Rome Health (Hospital) for survivors of sexual assault.
- Mentoring 3rdand 4th Graders in basic life skills including character-building at Gansevoort Elementary School.
- Collaborating with other Rome and Mohawk Valley-based organizations to build a better world for women and girls.
- Supporting families at our local hospice, Abraham House in Rome, NY.
- Featuring accomplished local women through our speaker’s bureau.
- Lending our voice to ending childhood marriage both nationally and internationally through our observer status at the United Nations to end gender-based violence through the “#ZontaSaysNO” campaign.
- Providing scholarships for young women in high school, college, graduate students and returning to college/trade school.

We are building a continuum for the advancement of women from Pre-Kindergarten to Seasoned Seniors, lending a bright light on the path of equity regardless of gender, race, residence, socio-economic status.
