Jean M. Coon Humanitarian Award
High School Juniors/Seniors chosen for outstanding volunteer community service.
Ogdensburg Zonta Club High School Award
This award, established several years ago by the Ogdensburg Zonta Club, (an International Service Organization, whose mission is Empowering Women through service & advocacy) is offered to graduating students from the area serviced by the Hammond, Morristown, Ogdensburg, Lisbon and Heuvelton schools who are pursuing higher education. The award is based upon definite standards relative to scholarship, character, leadership, service to their school and community and their desire to succeed.
Ogdensburg Zonta Club Adult Learner Award
This award, established several years ago by the Ogdensburg Zonta Club, (an International Service Organization, whose mission is Empowering Women through service & advocacy) is offered to area Adult Female Non-Traditional Learners who are at least 25 years old and who have completed at least one year of higher education. The applicant must be a permanent resident of St. Lawrence County and reside within a 20 mile radius of Ogdensburg.
Young Woman in Public Affairs Award
Established in 1990 by Past Zonta International President Leneen Forde, the Young Women in Public Affairs Award honors young women who demonstrate a commitment to leadership in public policy, government and volunteer organizations.
