Zonta Club of Ogdensburg
Zonta Ogdensburg Area Club is a part of Zonta International, District 2, Area 4. Our members are actively engaged in or retired from many various professions such as healthcare, education and business management.
Advancing the Status of Women Worldwide
Locally, our club supports a number of causes such as Renewal House, Gouverneur Business Women Breast Cancer Fund, Ogdensburg Boys & Girls Club, United Helpers, Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley, Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Claxton Hepburn Medical Center’s Richard Winter Cancer Treatment Center, Ogdensburg Public Library, and various others.
Our main focus is advancing the status of women, most notably through education.
Fund Raisers
Our major fundraisers are Our Annual Golf Tournament, Witches Night Out, and Julie’s Studio Annual Dance Recital.
Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the first Tues from September to June at St Joseph’s Home, Linden St, Ogdensburg NY at 6PM for the Board, 7pm for Membership.
Monthly Dinner meetings are held on the third Tues of the month at the Gran-View Restaurant, Rte 37, Ogdensburg NY at 6pm.
